This bug can occur any time after updating your game to 1.5 (The Update Aquatic Part 2).

On logging in, your character will be at the world spawn point. Your inventory will be wiped, your levels will be at zero and your Ender Chest will be empty.

You CANNOT get your items back!

This mainly affects Realms.

Make sure you have lots of BACKUPS.

Don't leave items in your Ender Chest or your Inventory when you log out.

If this happens to you, use a recent backup of your world to get your items back.
